Standard Tilt
Traditional plantation shutters feature a central tilt rod that spans the shutter from top to bottom and connects to the louvers. It's the classic, timeless shutter look, and the tilt rod itself becomes part of a room's design.
Best if you want the traditional look and feel of a true plantation shutter.
Hidden Tilt
Hidden tilt shutters move the operating mechanism out of sight behind the shutter, so louvers tilt without a visible rod running down the front. A popular choice for modern or contemporary rooms.
Best if you want an uninterrupted, streamlined view through the window.
